Mission: Resistance is Necessary
Location: Utopia Planitia
Timeline: MD002 - 0700

Over the past hour, the away team had been furiously tagging and transporting various things on their list back to the Jane Addams. As suspected, other ships had arrived at the shipyard with the same idea in mind. Reeves simply hoped that this wouldn't turn into some fight over supplies and equipment, especially considering they had arrived first and was grabbing everything they could get their hands on. Entering on deck 20, he found McEntyre and H'iri at the armory. "How much stuff from the armory did you all manage to acquire?"

"We managed to grab quite a bit. I have the cargo drones working to load ordnance onto the Addams. We also managed to find crates of surplus armor and type 3 rifles. We can equip a full security regiment with what we got." Elias replied, typing on his PADD.

"Excellent," Jason responded as patted the large Caitian on the back. "Other ships have arrived, so we're about to have company. Odd are that they're going to be pissed that we've been cleaning up here."

"The last of the drones are finishing up now. We should be locked and loaded for bare withing 30 minutes." McEntyre nodded, putting his padd in a pocket on his armor.

"We're also taking on full compliments of photon torpedoes and other such ordinance as well. Those will take longer to get on ship but we should be able to get all of it without any issue. Though I loathe to actually fire on our fellow countrymen, I doubt it will come to that."

The First Officer nodded. "Too bad transporting those on board isn't optional, lets load this stuff up on the runabout as well. Damn thing has room. Going to send the other back on the shuttle while Sakura, H'iri, you and myself go down the surface and find this bunker you were talking about."

"We should make it quick, not sure when the Surface will become unsafe for travel." Elias said as he turns towards the bay doors.

"There's a fast shuttle down to the surface and I have the coordinates and door codes for the bunker."

Elias continues and stops short, holding his arm out to stop the others behind him.

"Hopefully you left something for the rest of us."

Jason sighed as turned to find himself staring down a Lieutenant who clearly was security. Accompanying him were three other individuals. Another Lieutenant, either engineer or operations. The other two clearly were enlisted who were clearly security.

Elias stared them down, using his massive size as an intimidation tactic.

"And you are Lieutenant?" Reeves questioned.

"Lieutenant Tony Johnson, Chief of Security of the USS Ahwahee," the man about six feet answered. "Like yourself, we're here picking up provisions."

Looking over at Elias, the Commander hoped this would go fairly well. "Lieutenant Commander Jason Reeves, First Officer of the Jane Addams. Don't recall the Ahwahee being at the battle."

"Well Sir we were entering the system when the order to retreat was called," Johnson replied. "Since then, we have been assisting with the evacuation of Mars. Now that were at capacity, my Captain instructed to get what we can. So hopefully you all left enough for the rest of us."

Elias tilts his head to the side, this was either an offhanded comment or a threat. He was ready for either.

"We're all Starfleet here," the Commander replied. "The real enemy just kicked our teeth in. Last thing we need is kill each other over resources, especially when there are other places with resources outside of the Sol system. So, whatever we don't have loaded up on the carts already is free for everyone to grab."

The two enlisted personal were ready to move on their Chiefs mark. It was obvious that the other Lieutenant was looking around for a place to duck in case this got ugly. Tony Johnson looked at Jason and then stared over at Elias who he quickly assessed. "Alright Commander, that's works for us."

Reeves gave him a sly grin. "Glad that we all quickly came to such an agreement."

Johnson nodded to the rest of his group as they walked over to see what they could acquire before anyone could arrive.

Elias looked at Jason.

"Thank you, Commander. I didn't want to have to pull my sidearm on them."

"Just glad that it didn't demand we split everything," Jason sighed. "Don't think he wanted a fight, but he was pissed about possibly leaving here empty handed. Lets try to speed this up before anyone else arrives."

"Yes, Sir. The shuttle deck is down one level" Elias spoke as he took the lead.

A few minutes later they were back at the shuttle loading up what they could fit on there. "Kiiz, Taggart, Praavor and H'iri take this stuff and my children back to the Jane Addams please. The rest of us will take the ordinances and much larger items on the runabout with us." Looking around, he could see another away team just arriving. Clearly another ship had just arrived. But at least Starfleet had planned on leaving nothing for the Borg to acquire. As if they really needed their equipment.

Taggart nodded his understanding of his orders. "I'll keep your girls safe, Sir, you have my word." He then glanced back at the two girls and gave them a small grin. "You two ready to get out of her?"

The girls looked over to Taggart and smiled. "What about mommy and daddy?" Leila questioned.

"They still have work to do," said Kimora.

Leaving the shuttle, Reeves and McEntyre with the other ordinances. Doing their best to avoid the other away teams that were beginning to arrive, they managed to arrive at the runabout without incident. Sakura had been waiting for them with the doors open. Quickly storing everything, they shut doors and made their way to the front of this ship.

"We'll need to head for the Olympus Mons. The facility was built into the mountain there." Elias told Jason, uploading the coordinates into the computer.

"Sakura take us down to this coordinates."
